I Can’t Stop Thinking About Yesterday’s PatBo Runway
‘Tis the season of Fall NYFW Fun, and PatBo just stunned with it-girl looks.
In case you’re a newcomer to PatBo’s world, let me give you an introduction. The brand’s unique collections are born from their Creative Director’s roots in Brazil. Season after season, PatBo leaves me jaw-dropped with their color-forward and sparkle-heavy designs. Characterized by unique patterns, beaded appliques, and experimental fabrics, PatBo designs stand out among the sea of darker-toned Fall runways. PatBo collections are quite literally a dream come true for a statement-piece lover like me.
This season’s lineup was all about the color story. The runway navigates us through all colors of the rainbow: each piece an intentional blend of formal and fun, making for a perfectly unique event-wear line.
I am in awe of every look on this runway. Here are a few of the standouts:
-
Look 5
This hand-beaded masterpiece is walking artwork. The divine color choice sets the stage for the color story of the hollistic collection.
-
Look 6
Yes, this is the look that everyone is talking about. The bright purple from this piece has sparked predictions of purple being this season’s color (alongside daring red).
-
Look 14
The perfect mix of business and casual - literally.
-
Look 15
This look was a star of the show. With a silhouette that is otherwise very simple, PatBo adds jaw dropping details that transform the piece. And can we talk about the accessories here?! The structured-yet soft wristlet fits right in with this season’s forecasted trends, and the jeweled silver slingbacks take a fresh spin on the season’s hottest shoe.
-
Look 17
This dress moves with the model as a harmonious look gracing the runway. The piece brings in subtle lace, putting a spin on the season’s ever-loved sheer trend.
-
Look 21
The DENIM! This season’s runways have seen their share of denim and diamonds, but few have blended the two into such gorgeous and harmonious looks. This hand-beaded piece proves that PatBo designs will transform each year, while never losing sight of their authentic style.
-
Look 30
PatBo brought innovation to the runway with a modern take on a vintage silhouette.
-
Look 35
Leading the last few looks is this chic outerwear piece. Simple yet sophisticated, the velvet coat draws attention to the tailoring expertise that PatBo has incorporated into this season’s runway.
